Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I have to pay for my caddie uniform?
Caddie shirts and bibs are provided by the club; however, there is a three dollar fee for the hat and identification pin. Also, you are required to wear non-cargo khaki pants/shorts that are not provided by the club.
2. What steps must a returning caddie take?
All returning caddies MUST fill out a new registration form and work permit (caddies over 18 years of age only need to complete the registration form) as well as sign a copy of the 2012 Rules Sheet.
3. What are the different caddie levels?
Our different caddie levels are Honor, class A, class B, and class C. All new caddies start at a class C and are promoted based on member evaluations/recommendations, number of rounds, course knowledge, character, etc.
4. Are there going to be any changes in the caddie program this year?
Yes. This year caddies will sport caddie bibs (similar to the men’s invitational). A training session about reading greens will be given to those that are interested. Also, caddies will be allowed to carry a double this year (two bags at once).
5. Where should my parents drop me off/pick me up?
As with years past, please tell your ride to drop you off and pick you up along side the indoor tennis house. For those that don’t know, the indoor tennis house is the large building with aluminum siding that runs parallel to Pine Lake Road. Do not pull into the bag drop area that wraps around the fountain. The bag drop is only to be used by members and their guests.
6. When do I get paid for my loop ?
You will be paid immediately after your loop is completed. The member will fill out and complete the evaluation card before you are paid.
7. Can caddies play Pine Lake CC on Monday’s when the course is closed to members ?
Yes, there will be dates available for caddies to play if they maintain a solid caddie history.
